The story goes like this... we once had a wonderful cat - we purchased him from a breeder in Maple Ridge who is not running her business anymore. We went to pick up a Himalayan female kitten, but when we arrived there were 2 kittens available - the female was small and shy, but the male blue point kitty was sitting on a little chair showing off. He was extremely cute and needless to say, we went home carrying a male kitten instead of the planned female.
When the breeder sold Chandler to us, she said a phrase: he is a nice kitty, part Ragdoll though, but you will be better off with him. I have to admit, a week or two after we got him I started to wonder if he was Himalayan at all. His personality was amazing - he has this inner self esteem helping him conquer our hearts... We had another kitten at that time - a Siamese boy (very difficult cat). Chandler was the dream cat and all our friends commented on it. He greeted us at the door, he behaved like a well mannered puppy, he was extremely playful, he felt when we needed him, he was relaxed, calm, quiet (remember, our second cat was a Siamese) and full of self confidence... He instantly became friends with our 10 month old puppy, who is a foxhound and really hyper. We realized that Chandler was the perfect example of a cat everybody would love to have. That is when our first idea of breeding Ragdolls came up. It took years from then to now, but here we are - breeding Ragdolls.
